Railroad and Traffic Light Should be Disconnected

To Whom it May Concern,
When a train passes through here, it forces the nearby traffic light to turn to red. Even though no one is travelling in the east or west direction, both north and south are forced to stop.
This can be very annoying, especially when 2 trains pass by one after another. This intersection can build up quite a deal of traffic and only makes matters worse when the green light unleashes the traffic on the subsequent traffic lights in either direction.
Please allow north bound and south bound traffic continue to flow during a train passing!
We, the undersigned, agree with this petition and demand something be done to remedy the situation as soon as possible.
