Stop All of the Rear End Accidents!

To Whom it May Concern,
During heavy traffic times like the 9am or 5pm commuting times, both north bound and south bound traffic are allowed to stop and make a left crossing over 2 lanes of opposing traffic. This is dangerous for 2 reasons. First, rear end accidents occur due to a stopped car on a 50mph highway. Second, the car has to travel across 2 lanes of opposing traffic to make a left.
Possible solutions: Left only arrow. No left during heavy traffic times. No left at all, detour to nearby side streets.
Thank you for helping to make this intersection a safer place.
We, the undersigned, agree with this petition and demand something be done to remedy the situation as soon as possible.
